Novel PDMS based semi-interpenetrating networks (IPNs) for the extraction of phenolic compounds

چکیده
Four Semi-Interpenetrating Networks (semi-IPN) based on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) were developed for the sorptive extraction of polar phenolic compounds (log Kow ≤ 3). Their preparation is hydrosilylation crosslinking reaction dihydrosilane terminated with its homologue divinyl, followed by addition inert various polyethylene oxide derivatives (PEO). The physico-chemical properties semi-IPN controlled Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Electronic Microscopy (SEM), RAMAN spectroscopy and contact angle measurements, showing homogeneity their higher hydrophilicity. Under optimum conditions molecules as target analytes using liquid chromatography analysis techniques, novel modified PDMS phases showed good rate against an excellent relative recovery average (69–100 %) molecules. retention rates obtained 30 % interpenetrated copolymer PEO/PPO in PDMS. Moreover, five adsorption/desorption cycles led to a loss 5.8 adsorption efficiency, stability these PDMS-based IPN phases.

متن کاملSemi-Interpenetrating Polymer Networks for Enhanced Supercapacitor Electrodes
Conducting polymers show great promise as supercapacitor materials due to their high theoretical specific capacitance, low cost, toughness, and flexibility. Poor ion mobility, however, can render active material more than a few tens of nanometers from the surface inaccessible for charge storage, limiting performance. Here, we use semi-interpenetrating networks (sIPNs) of a pseudocapacitive poly...
